Fun with Renaissance Dance Music and Dances 

Sat 22nd February 2020 at Brockham


A workshop for both musicians and dancers led by Andy Richards, Helen Richard, Fiz Markham and Tom Jolly. 

No previous experience required. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Bring a music stand.  Cost £10


The workshop is divided into two halves with the musicians gathering in late morning to practice the music, followed by a lunch break and the dance workshop in the afternoon.

      11:30 -12:15 Registration and Refreshments

      12:15 – 13:30 “Playing for Early Music” – Musicians

Any acoustic instruments that can play in G, D and Em

and blend into a band will be very welcome!

      13:30 – 14:30 Lunch (Bring and share – or go to the pub)

      14:30 – 17:00 “Dances from 15th &16th century" - Dancers and Musicians 

The emphasis will be on everyone having fun

rather than aiming for perfection.

Music will be available to download a few weeks before.
